My newest investment

and why it's the smartest investment you can make

Today I made a pretty nice size investment of around $20,000 USD - that’ll make me hundreds of thousands of dollars if not millions in the coming months.

Right now I have a pretty big crypto and stock portfolio with some properties I’ll be adding in the pipeline over the next few months - but the investment I made today may be my smartest one yet.

Some may call this a boring investment - that holds its value but doesn’t really have a substantial ROI.

And in the typical sense, they’re right.

I mean the asset itself isn’t going to make you rich, nor will it skyrocket in value leading you to generational wealth or financial freedom.

In fact, it wasn’t until recently until people even took notice that this was classified as an actual asset.

It’s not real estate,

  • Stocks

  • Crypto

  • A business acquisition

Or anything of that nature.

Instead, the investment I decided to make today was for a watch, more specifically a Rolex Daytona Steel with a black dial.

This investment is so boring - it probably wouldn’t catch the eye of a typical NPC normie.

Nonetheless, this investment piece will make me absurd amounts of hard-cold cash this year.

Why?

It’ll increase my status.

Over the past few years, after taking hundreds and reviewing hundreds of sales calls, I’ve gathered one big takeaway.

And that is - having status is a surefire way to close more high-ticket deals from your desired prospects.

It’s the same reason why I’ve been able to generate nearly $45,000 from this email list alone since starting it - opposed to the typical talking head guru spamming cringey reals on instagram.

When you put this into perspective, I’ve closed multiple deals from this newsletter in B2C and B2B without even showing my face.

This is because you can feel the status I hold simply by reading my emails.

You probably know I work with some of the biggest creators on the internet, make six figures per month, happily married, recently closed a enterprise deal, and the people I privately consult with go on to have 7-figure offers in record breaking time.

It’s the same concept of wearing a nice timepiece.

I don’t have to speak much, brag about my results, shill a course down your throat, or send you a lengthy sales argument as to why you should work with me.

Instead - my watch will do the talking.

Let me give you a real-life scenario of how this works:

For example - let’s say I decide to attend a marketing mastermind, for this scenario, we’ll say funnel hacking live.

I’m chatting it up with a few of the homies and it so happens some of my dream clients are sitting at the table right next to me.

As me and my homies are chopping it up, casually discussing direct response marketing, funnel economics, our plans for scaling - a dream customer happens to overhear the conversation.

They take a look over at the table just to see who’s chatting, and they see me in a cashmere sweatsuit with no big logo’s (causal flex btw), with a $20,000 watch on my wrist.

I noticed this particular prospect from my rearview, and as I stand up to go to the bathroom (I really don’t have to use the bathroom), I walk past the table with my dream customers and I introduce myself and spark a conversation.

After a few moments, I’m diagnosing their business at a very sophisticated level - without even mentioning my results and who I’ve worked with in a matter of minutes I lock in their contact and head towards the restroom.

A few hours pass and I spot them in the lobby - I walk past and say whats up, spark a conversation, and ask them what they have planned for later.

I then find out they have nothing planned, and invite them to a dinner at the best steakhouse in town.

After a few appetizers, we’re back chatting about how I can help them grow their business.

As we get deep into the lamb chops, they ask me how I could help grow their business.

I casually give them a rundown on how I’d grow their business, but I mention that I need a bit more context on their situation right now as we have limited capacity and are very selective.

They then proceed to give me all the nitty gritty numbers (their revenue, sales process, funnels, team infrastructure, and more)

I then say “sounds like a good fit, let’s dive deeper into how we can find some synergy together”.

Soon after the check comes, I make a big d*ck move and cover the $500 bill like nothing.

We stay around 10 minutes more once the bill is paid, and before we leave the deal is closed.

Now that summarizes that scenario:

But noticed how this entire interaction started from the client looking me up and down, seeing my $20,000 watch and instantly noticing me as an authority.

That’s it for today’s email,

Talk soon.
