Roll The Dice

A few days ago I spoke to one of my mentors about a really big opportunity I have on the table.

For various reasons I can’t speak much on this opportunity - however, what I can say is that there’s very very high upside and very low downside.

However, taking on this opportunity would take me out of my workflow, change my entire business infrastructure, and require the bulk of my time.

So much time, that I would have to downsize my business drastically.

Just for context - this mentor in particular makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per month in profit to his agency and has some of the biggest info-offers on the market in his portfolio. 

Here’s how our conversation went::

Mentor:

[8:53 PM, 10/3/2024] “A dice has a 6 and a 1 on it - so roll it”

Malcolm:

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “N**ga what the f*** does that mean?”

Mentor:

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “Read it again”

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “On a dice”

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “You can roll it and get a 1”

Malcolm:

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “makes sense”

Mentor:

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “On the exactly the same dice”

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “You can get a 6”

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “Hence”

[8:54 PM, 10/3/2024] “I always say roll the dice”

As you can see from the chain of messages and rapid text he was most likely stimulant maxxing and just spitting out what came top to mind.

But, make no mistake - his advice has actually been the most profound I’ve had in a while.

Something so short and sweet as “Roll the dice”.

As I sat back and pondered more on this, I realized that this doesn’t just apply to my specific situation - but instead it’s a universal principle.

Even when I look back, and think about how I scaled my business - it all goes back to simply rolling the dice.

If you’re on this newsletter - you’re probably young, with no family of your own to take care of.

And more than likely you’re hustling day in and day out so you can hit it big in the game of online business.

Over time you’ll notice something interesting about the ‘abnormal’ lifestyle that we live, taking shot after shot every day.

You’ll find that the more shots you take, the more life-changing opportunities swing your way.

So here’s my advice for when this happens - as it surely will if it hasn’t already.

Roll the dice.

Just roll the f*cking dice.
