The #1 skillset you need to make money
you need to master this
In today’s newsletter, I want to discuss the #1 skillset you need to develop to make money online.
It’s not copywriting, media buying, sales, or funnel building.
In fact - it’s a topic not often discussed, however, the top industry experts put most of their attention on this one thing.
What’s this thing you may ask?
Angle creation.
In short - angle creation is your ability to convey a new unique, interesting, and exciting message to your market in one single statement.
Now this may sound easy enough - but this single statement can make or break your sales.
And you should personally spend hours of deep work developing your very own unique angle for your offer.
Why angle creation is so important:
In any market, particularly in the biz-op, investing, relationships, and health industries, you’ll find that there are hundreds of other competitors who are actively reaching your customers.
Many of whom already have millions of impressions and thousands of customers.
Therefore, not only are you losing before you even go to market due to the fact your competition is spending more money to acquire customers than you, but you’re also losing due to the fact your potential customers have already seen your offer.
For example:
Let’s say you're selling a biz-op offer teaching people how to earn passive income wholesaling real estate.
In this sub-niche, there’s already a competitor dominating your industry attributing a large chunk of impressions in the marketplace.
In this case, once you launch marketing promotions for your offer, the audience won’t find your solution appealing or exciting decreasing your conversions.
But, there’s a solution to this XYZ issue.
Instead of selling the same offer as your competition, you can position your offer as a totally different solution.
Even better, a new unique, exciting opportunity that your customers can’t afford to miss.
Recently a client reached out to me facing an angle issue.
This client was selling a biz-op offer teaching traditional drop shippers how to start high-ticket dropshipping.
After auditing their offer I concluded that the biggest issue was their potential customers had already been sold from a tycoon in their niche.
Long story short, they ended up paying me $10,000 to write a new VSL for them to help them separate from their competition and dominate their industry.
Here’s what I did:
First I found the underlying fundamental principle of their business model.
Which was teaching people how to sell high-priced physical items online, without actually touching the product in hand.
And all of our competitors were positioning their offer as “How to start a High-Ticket Dropshipping business”.
But there was the problem:
The bulk of our target audience had already seen those messages in the market.
So instead, I took the fundamental aspects of the business model to create a new angle in the market.
Here’s the new angle I created for them:
“New System Reveals How To Become An Online “Luxury Product Broker” and Earn $1,000 Per Transaction In 2024”.
This angle now completely separates our message from the typical High-Ticket Dropshipping offer.
Additionally, it has a novelty effect where people will think to themselves…
“What is this, it sounds interesting”
We essentially repackage the offer into a totally different category and our core message won’t just be around starting a high ticket dropshipping business.
Instead, our messaging is framed around selling luxury products online as a broker.
Another example of this is a new offer I’m developing for a big launch this upcoming month.
For this particular offer, we’ll be targeting everyday 9-5 workers and helping them sell digital products online.
There’ll be millions of dollars spent on this campaign therefore we have to go mass market to avoid reaching the TAM too fast.
Here’s the angle for this offer:
“How 43% Of Employees Are Earning $116,615 Per Year Exploiting “The Great Digital Migration”
It’s new, exciting, and interesting and our market will eat this up.
That’s it for today’s email.
Talk soon,
